All I have to say is..... THANK GOODNESS THIS SEQUEL WAS WRITTEN. While I loved the first book, I found it to end very abruptly, and not in the huge cliff-hanger way that I typically love.

I think this book is a great ending to the first book, Nantucket Blue, but should only be read one right after the other. It perfectly wrapped up Cricket's story and made me feel as though she was a close friend of mine.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a nice light read, especially if you are at the beach!

Nantucket Blue - Leila Howland

Okay, so, time to be honest. I bought this book on sale at Costco expecting it to be a cheap beach read. But it was OH so much more than I was hoping for!

The first few chapters seemed to drag for me, but once Cricket made it to Nantucket it picked up pace. I read this book in one day. And was more than I was hoping for.

Unfortunately, the end was rather abrupt and I did not have the second book with me. :(

Overall, this book was much more complex than I was expecting and I fell in love with the setting and the characters.
